Teams
Organize members, API keys, usage, budgets, and billing under one shared team.
Teams give everyone in your organization a consistent place to access Infron. Each team has its own members, roles, API keys, spending controls, usage data, and billing activity.
How teams work
A team is the top-level owner of resources in Infron. Resources created in one team are separate from resources in another team.
Each team can have its own:
Members and invitations
API keys
Budgets and spending limits
Usage, cost breakdowns, and logs
Balance, payment methods, top-ups, invoices, and billing transactions
You can belong to more than one team. Use the team switcher to choose the team you want to work in. See Switching Teams.
Personal teams
Every Infron account has a Personal team. You are the owner and admin of this team.
Your Personal team is designed for individual use:
It always appears as Personal in the team switcher.
It cannot have additional members.
Ownership cannot be transferred.
It cannot be deleted.
If you also belong to shared teams, your Personal team remains available and appears at the bottom of the team switcher.
Team roles
Every team member has one role. The team owner is also an admin, with additional permission to transfer ownership or delete the team.
Admin
Manage team settings and members, create admin keys, manage team budgets, view team-wide activity, and manage billing.
Member
Create and manage personal API keys, view their own usage, and manage budgets for their own personal keys.
Billing manager
View team-wide usage and billing data, and manage top-ups, auto top-up, payment methods, and invoices.
Billing managers cannot invite or remove members, change roles, manage team settings, or create API keys.
Owner permissions
The owner is an admin with two additional permissions:
Transfer team ownership to another active admin
Delete the team
A team must always have at least one admin. The last admin cannot be downgraded or removed.
Managing team members
Admins can manage members and invitations from the Team Members page. Members and billing managers can view the team roster, but cannot change it.
Inviting a member
To invite someone to your team:
Switch to the team you want to manage.
Open Team Members in the dashboard.
Select Invite member.
Enter the member's email address.
Choose Admin, Member, or Billing manager.
Send the invitation.
The invitation is tied to the recipient's verified email address and expires after seven days. If the recipient is signed out, Infron asks them to sign in and then returns them to the invitation automatically.
When the recipient opens a valid invitation while signed in with the invited email address, Infron adds them to the team and continues to their onboarding flow.
If someone opens an invitation with a different signed-in email address, Infron shows which email address the invitation was sent to. They can return to their dashboard or sign in with the correct email.
Changing a member's role
To change a role:
Open Team Members.
Find the member you want to update.
Open the member's actions menu.
Select Change role.
Choose the new role and confirm the change.
You cannot downgrade the team's last admin. To change an owner's role, transfer ownership first.
Removing a member
Admins can remove other members from a shared team. An admin cannot remove themselves, and the last admin cannot be removed.
Removing someone from one team does not affect their Personal team or any other teams they belong to.
Team member limits
Shared teams support up to the member limit shown on the Team Members page. The default limit is 100 members. When the team reaches its limit, admins cannot send new invitations until a place becomes available.
Team settings
Admins can update a shared team's basic information from Team Settings, including:
Team logo
Team name
Description
Billing contact email
Changes are applied when you select Save. The billing contact email must be a valid email address.
Personal teams do not show ownership transfer or team deletion settings.
Transferring ownership
Only the current owner can transfer ownership. The new owner must already be an active admin on the team.
To transfer ownership:
Open Team Settings.
Find Transfer ownership.
Select an active admin.
Confirm the transfer.
After the transfer, the previous owner remains an admin.
If no other admin is available, promote a member to admin before transferring ownership.
Deleting a team
Only the owner can delete a shared team. Deleting a team removes its members, revokes its API keys, and clears its budgets. This action cannot be undone.
To delete a team:
Open Team Settings.
Go to Danger zone.
Select Delete team.
Enter the team name to confirm.
After deletion, Infron switches you back to your Personal team.
